COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS
“Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for
those who fear, too long for those who grieve,
too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.”
–Henry Van Dyke
Life is incomplete without its ups and downs, lows and highs and you must not lose sight of the benefits in every storm that you experience. Understand that life’s tribulations are not common to you alone. Giants always look around you, waiting to wreck havoc on things you cherish such as your health, money, jobs, career, family or academics.
In this recession, if you have lost anything, God is the reason you didn’t lose everything. Look around you for the friendly winds that have been pushing you towards destiny’s path.
A wounded lion has its life to be grateful for. Focus on what you have and not on what you have lost. The outgoing year may have been dotted by job losses, uncertainty, fear and economic turbulence but be thankful to God and be hopeful about the future. See a better day ahead.
NB
